CHANGE…
Does it ever end? I know the obvious answer to this question. The only time that CHANGE will end is when I take my last breath.
The definition of CHANGE:
to make or become different, or to do, use, or get one thing in place of another thing.
CHANGE happens whether we like it or not. It’s in constant motion…
CHANGE reminds us that we are NOT in CONTROL. We cannot control the weather. We cannot control traffic, or the way others drive. I really wish I could, don’t you? We cannot control whether others like us or love us. We cannot control who we are related to; family is family. Boy, do I wish I could CHANGE this. Thank goodness, we can choose our friends.
We cannot control someone’s thoughts. We cannot control what they believe or think. We cannot control someone’s feelings, choices, or actions, but we can control how we respond to them.
The past – try undoing this one. It will NEVER happen. Remember, history has a way of repeating itself, and the more something CHANGES, the more it stays the same.
With the passing of time…we cannot CHANGE. Time is something we cannot get back. Time is the most precious GIFT we have been given. Reminder to self: Don’t forget how precious TIME really is. Living in the PRESENT is a PRESENT.
We can’t CHANGE when we die or when our loved ones do.
We can’t CHANGE the future.
We can’t CHANGE God. Thank goodness, we can’t CHANGE Him. However, it sure seems like a lot of people want to do just that, CHANGE God. Why? Why not? For goodness sake, they want to CHANGE so much, including the TRUTH. Is one plus one, two, I sure think so. Don’t you?
People want what they want, for the moment, until they don’t. Why??? That’s a HARD one. In my experience, until they see or feel the result of CHANGE in REAL time, and realize, something really did CHANGE. That can be a good thing or a bad thing…but one thing is for sure, it will affect and CHANGE you and those closest to you.
CHANGE will NEVER end that’s for sure.
