Our very first guest in April will be Beverly Willett.
Beverly is the author of “Disassembly Required: A Memoir of Midlife Resurrection,” her story about starting over after the American Dream implodes, which was nominated for 2020 Georgia Author of the Year and excerpted by AARP Magazine. Beverly has written for dozens of the nation’s largest publications including The New York Times, USA Today, The Washington Post, The New York Daily News, Woman’s Day, The Washington Examiner, Newsweek and many more. Religious publications including the National Catholic Register, First Things, The Southern Cross, America, and Commonweal. She co-founded the Coalition for Divorce Reform to educate the public about divorce and advocate for legislative reform. A former NYC attorney, her degrees include a BA in Political Science from Pennsylvania State University and a JD from the Columbus School of Law at Catholic University of America. Beverly now makes her home in Savannah, Ga. Her novel in progress is entitled “Nobody’s Fault” and follows a young millennial lawyer who argues the case for marriage all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court.
